How to install the Xolido signing component – ​​Mac operating system

Mac operating system and Safari browser

To sign using a Mac, there is no need to install any additional components. You simply need to have the Safari browser and the digital certificate (in .pfx or .p12 format) installed on the device.

If these browsers are used for signing, it is necessary to install the Xolido signing component.

To access the component download, go to:  https://demo.xolidosign.com/ayuda

1. The first screen shows the status of the signature component. 

If the component is not installed, a message appears indicating "Component NOT installed."”.

2. Clicking on the first install button will download an executable file (.pkg). Double-click the downloaded file and follow the installation steps.

3. Clicking the second install button will download another executable file (.pkg). Double-click the downloaded file and follow the installation steps.

4. Clicking the third install button will download another executable file (.pkg). Double-click the downloaded file and follow the installation steps.

5. Now click the "Xolido extension for electronic signatures" button.

6. The installation process for the add-on varies depending on your browser. We show you both processes.

7. Google Chrome browser.

8. Mozilla Firefox browser.

9. Finally, you must close the browser completely for the changes to take effect. Make sure the small dot beneath the icon disappears.
