What is two-factor authentication?
Two-factor authentication is a system that adds an additional layer of security to the access process to your XolidoSign Corporate platform, making it difficult for third parties to access your account.
The two-factor authentication incorporates a second verification method to access your platform and thus provide greater security.
Why activate two-factor authentication?
The first reason to enable 2FA is to strengthen the security of access to your accounts. By requiring two-factor authentication, even if attackers get your password, they will need a second factor to access your applications that only you have.
2FA Mechanisms in XolidoSign Corporate
Pin SMS
Double factor PIN by SMS sent to your cell phone. Your XolidoSign Corporate service must have an SMS gateway and each user must have a cell phone number configured in their account to send the PIN.
TOTP (Google Authenticator or similar)
The user must have a compatible application to generate the codes, such as "Google Authenticator", "Microsoft Authenticator" or "FreeOTP".
How to activate the two-factor authentication in XolidoSign Corporate?

Activate the two-factor mechanism by SMS:

Configuration
Access policy
Two-factor authentication. Check "YES" in the "Request pin SMS as two-factor" box.
TOTP (Google Authenticator)
Access to My Resources > Authentication > TOTP / Google Auth.
Activate OTP protocol.
Install a "Google Authenticator" or similar application.
