Digital Identity: are we cells or are we bits?
Excellent talk given by Javier Ganso Carpintero, Head of Support and User Experience, which talked about the concept of digital identity, challenges and technologies for identification and authentication and how to apply Xolido solutions in digital transformation processes.
The first part dealt with the concept of digital identity and the challenges we face, for example the reliability of information, privacy and having unique universal identifiers. Emphasis was placed on not losing sight of the fact that we are cells, human beings, and that actions linked to our digital identity may have legal responsibilities in the physical world.
In the second part, we explained different challenges we face with regard to digital identification such as phishing and credential theft. It also explained the most used identification technologies and those that will be in the future, balancing the advantages and disadvantages of each of them.
Xolido is committed on the use of the electronic certificate as a basis for a robust authentication and maximum legal guarantee, accompanied by other methods to have greater security when identifying us. For example, combining a signature with an electronic certificate with a biometric handwritten signature.
In the last part, participants were encouraged to use Xolido solutions in their digital transformation processes explaining our differentiating factors and how we help organizations to be more efficient and have more security and control.
